As an Executive Vice President at Tri Star Pictures and Division Head at Sony, Mendelson developed deep expertise in content strategy and entertainment business operations. His visionary approach to digital media emerged during his tenure with Paul Allen's Vulcan Ventures, where he helped establish Starwave. This pioneering digital media company developed and launched ESPN.com and a gaming division, both of which were subsequently acquired by The Walt Disney Company in a landmark deal approaching $1 billion.
